Rites Held for Mrs. Quick

Mrs. Jennie Mabel Quick, 72, 111 E. Main Street, Havana, Illinois, died at Pekin Memorial Hospital Thurs., Sept. 4 at 11:00 p.m.

She was born June 27, 1897, the daughter of Milton and Alice Foster Seelye.

She was married in Bloomington, Ill. in 1950 to Lawrence Quick and he survives.

Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Melvin Strietmatter of Peoria, 2 grandsons, 2 nieces and 2 nephews.

She was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 3 sisters.

She was a member of the First Christian Church of Pekin, Ill.

Services were held at the Limback Funeral Home Monday, Sept. 8, at 1:30 p.m. The Rev. Don Ridgeway officiating.

The pall-bearers were Roy Seelye, Midge Foster, Clayton Seelye, Harold Seelye, Terry Adams, and Fred Trimpe.

The organist was Pearl Lee.

The soloist for the service was Wilma Vogel.

Burial was in the Meadow Lawn Cemetery at Manito, Ill.
