SANGER -- Carolyn Joy Seely Ready went to be with her Lord and family on Sunday, Aug. 25, 2002, after a long three-year uphill battle following a stroke.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church in Sanger. Interment: Sanger Cemetery.

Carolyn Joy Seely Ready was born July 2, 1924, in Justin.
Survivors: Children, Jim Bob Ready and wife, Kim, and their children, Laccie, Ryan, Jay and Kelsey; and daughter, Jenny Pearl Ready McCuistion and her husband, Robert, and their children, Stormy and Shannon; sister, Helen Virginia Bounds.
