Gloria Marjorie Reeder

COLORADO, SPRINGS, Colo. - Gloria Marjorie Reeder, 89, a resident of Colorado Springs, Colo., for the past 11 1/2 years and a former longtime resident of East Liverpool, passed away on Feb. 21, 2011, in Colorado Springs. Gloria was born Oct. 22, 1921, in Chester, a daughter of the late James Edward and Catherine Starkes Seeley. She lived most of her life in East Liverpool before relocating to Colorado Springs to reside with her daughter and son-in-law. Gloria was a member of First United Methodist Church in Colorado Springs. She had worked as a welder during World War II. As a young woman, she loved to dance. Gloria also enjoyed quilting, knitting, reading and traveling with her husband. Gloria loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Gloria is survived by her daughter, Debra (Tom) Brokaw; three grandchildren, Jeff (Julie) Brokaw, Amy (Tony) McKenzie and Matt (Laura) Brokaw; and eight great-great-grandchildren, Dale and Ally Brokaw, Bryce, Sydney and Kayla McKenzie and Warren, Wessley and Sofia Brokaw.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Dale Reeder; her son, Richard; and three brothers and three sisters.
