Effie Robinson, Peru Resident Dies at Hospital
PERU – Mrs. Effie M. Robinson, 77, 185 W. 12th St., died at 5:15 p.m. Saturday at Dukes Hospital. She had been ill four months.
Born in Illinois Feb. 10, 1894, she was the daughter of Loren and Florence Staddon Seeley.
Her marriage on June 25, 1913, was to Donald Robinson, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Marie Green, Rt. 3, Peru; a sister, Mrs. Mabel Sherwood and a brother, DeLoss Seeley, of Tacoma, Wash.
She was an ordained deacon and member of the Main St. United Methodist Church, a member and Past Matron of the Eastern Star and a member of the Order of the Amaranth.
Rites will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Eikenberry Funeral Home with the Rev. John Siner officiating. Burial will be in Leiters Ford Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
