Arlene Lois Santerre

CHERRYFIELD – Arlene Lois Santerre, 54, a loving wife, mother, sister and friend, passed on unexpectedly Aug. 31, 2007, at home. She was born April 5, 1953, in Calais, the daughter of Donald and Theresa (Lee) Seeley Sr.

Among the many things she cherished in this world, fishing year round at camp, spending time with family and loving the two family golden retrieves, Bruizer and Chance, were always at the top of the list.

Arlene is survived by a loving family, including her husband of 36 years, Patrick “Ricki” Santerre; a son, Shawn Patrick; and a daughter, Patricia Ann and her companion, Gary Brooks; immediate sisters, Linda Soucy of Calais and Karen Seeley of St. John, New Brunswick; five brothers, Alton and Robert of Calais, Timmy of Machias, Bernard “Bernie” of Cherryfield and Donald Wayne of Somerville, Mass.; as well as, several half brothers, one half sister, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
