Ruth G. Schuyler

Feb. 3, 1916 – Jan. 7, 2010

Ruth G. Schuyler passed away Thursday, Jan. 7, 2010, at the age of 93 years. She was born Feb. 3, 1916, to William and Gertrude Seeley.

On Aug. 3, 1935, she married Elias Schuyler. He preceded her in death Aug. 30, 1994. They lived in California for 3 1/2 years, then on the family farm on Dousman Road in the town of Summit. In 1991, they moved to an apartment in the Masonic Village on the Square in Dousman.

Ruth is survived by three sons, James (Wilma) of Oconomowoc, David (Judy) of Oconomowoc and Lee (Jean), also of Oconomowoc. She is further survived by her grandchildren, Timothy (Debbie) Schuyler, Heidi (Mike) Miller, Sue (Glenn) Henricks, Bob Schuyler and Mike (Stephanie) Schuyler, and great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Moriah, Briar, Mindee, Chanderler and Gavin.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Harry Seeley and Lawrence Seeley; a son, John Schuyler; and granddaughter, Cheryl Schuyler.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 17, at the Chapel at Compass Point, 375 Highway 67, Dousman. Family will receive friends following the service.

In her memory, memorials to the Dousman Fire Department EMTs would be appreciated.
