McALESTER — Marianne Elaine (Seeley) Shearer, 74, of Asher, died Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Swearingen Chapel. Burial will be at Violet Springs Cemetery in Konawa. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa.

Marianne Elaine (Seeley) Shearer, age 74 and a resident of Asher, Oklahoma, passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 14, 2014 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Konawa. Burial will follow at Violet Springs Cemetery in Konawa. Pallbearers are Dennis Treannie, Mickie Treannie, Dennis Lee Lamb, Richard Seeley, Cody Stancell, and Jamie Wilson.

Marianne was born on June 13, 1939 in Madison Wisconsin to Leon Dextor Seeley and Mary Agnes (Hart) Seeley. She was an honor student at Okmulgee Technology Center, and worked as a school cafeteria manager.

She is survived by her soul-mate, Randy Miksell of the home; four daughters, Mary Lamb of Konawa, Oklahoma, Jo Treannie of Krebs, Oklahoma, Tracey Bell of Mustang, Oklahoma, and Randi Campuzano of Mansfield, Texas; one brother, Richard Seeley of Sandy, Utah; one sister and brother-in-law, Edie and Brian Beckham of Rancho Palos Verdes, California; six grandchildren, Dennis Treannie, Ashley Lamb, Mikie Treannie, Amber Wilson, Nikki Treannie, and Brileigh Treannie; six great grandchildren, Chloe Treannie, Clay Treannie, Airiana Wilson, Damian Stancell, Addyson Treannie, and Aaliyah Lamb.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Mary Seeley; her beloved nephew, Dennis Carl Johnson; one sister, Mary Ester Seeley; and two brothers, Kenneth Francis Seeley and Donald Joseph Seeley.

Marianne's family would like to state that they were not ready to let her go, and that God gained an amazing angel when she passed from this life. She was an amazing woman in whatever role she had to do. She wanted to prove to the world that your age is just a number. Anyone who met her knew that she was full of life, love, and genuine kindness, and her family loved her very much.
