Louise Sherrill

Louise Sherrill 1918 ~ 2007 GREEN RIVER - Louise Sherrill, age 89, died January 4, 2008 in Green River, Utah. She was born April 22, 1918 in Storrs, Utah to George Willard Seely and Olive Percy Dickman. She married Ray Sherrill on April 9, 1938 in Price, Utah. Louise was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the American Legion Auxiliary, and the Woman's Club. For 31 years, she worked side by side with her husband at Ray's Tavern in Green River, Utah. She loved cooking, fishing, gardening, playing cards and was a devoted Utah Jazz Fan. She never knew a stranger. She was loving, caring and always helping others. She is survived by her children, Arden (Carolyn) Sherrill of Green River, UT; JoAnn (Bob) Wetherington of Green River, UT; and LaRae (David) Fullmer of Monticello, UT; 17 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and great great-grandchildren; sisters, Allene Spadafora of Green River, UT; LaRue Hunt of Green River, UT; and Olive (Odell) Anderson also of Green River, UT. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ray Sherrill; daughter, Arden's twin sister, Arlene and husband, George Weihing; brother, Don Seeley; sisters, Verda Fraley; and Elizabeth Harper; daughter-in-law, Reida Sherrill; son-in-law, Robert Dugdale; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and her parents. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, January 8, 2008 at 12:00 p.m. at the Green River LDS Ward Chapel. Viewing will be Tuesday from 10:00-11:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment will be in the Elgin Cemetery. Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary.
