Mrs. Milford E. Shrout

Mrs. Sadie Seeley Shrout, 53, of 21 Washington Way, died Monday at 4:30 a.m. in Titusville Hospital where she had been a patient for 10 days.

She was born March 8, 1913 at Pineville, the daughter of Ernest and Emma Mott Seeley.

She married George Faunce. He died April 1, 1948. On Aug. 27, 1948 she married Milford E. Shrout at Oakland, Md. He died April 17, 1966.

She was employed as a local representative of Avon Products, Inc. of New York for the past three years.

She is survived by her mother; a step-son, Milford W. Shrout of Corry; a brother, Charles “Jack” Seeley of Erie; two sisters – Mrs. Kenneth (Hazel) Foley of Titusville and Mrs. Wade (Marie) Martin of North Warren; two step-grandsons – Barry Shrout and Brent Shrout of Corry; and several nieces and nephews. Her father, Ernest Seeley, and a brother, Arthur Seeley, died previously.

Friends may call at the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home today and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and attend the funeral service there at 2 p.m. Thursday with Rev. Marlin Klingensmith of the Excelsior Full Gospel Church officiating.

Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.

The funeral service for Mrs. Sadie Seeley Shrout was conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home with Rev. Marlin Klingensmith of the Excelsior Full Gospel Church officiating.

Interment was in Woodlawn Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: James Williams, Earl Roberts, Al Lowros, Alfred Roggenkamp, Larry Carnahan and Bill Muir.

Teed, Mrs. Violet Morrison and Mrs. Alice Thompson of Erie; Mrs. Harold Moore of Warren, Ohio; Mrs. Betty Ceriola of Irvine; Mr. and Mrs. William Birchard, Mr. and Mrs. James Birchard, Mr. and Mrs. James Williams and Mr. and Mrs. Larry Carnahan of Tidioute; Mr. and Mrs. Earl Roberts and Mrs. Jennie Roberts of Grand Valley, RD; Mr. and Mrs. Leo Seeley of Townville; and Mr. and Mrs. Merle Seeley of Oil City.
