Metta Pearl Stookey, 65, Jonesboro, died Tuesday in Marion General Hospital. She had been ill for four months.
Mrs. Stookey was a native and lifetime resident of Grant County. She was a member of the Jones Chapel Friends Church.
Survivors include her husband, Robert; a daughter, a brother, Herman Seeley, Swayzee, and two grandchildren.
Private services will be held.
Hunt's Funeral Home in Fairmount, is in charge of arrangements.
