Louise Viola Seely Stufflebeam

SPARTANSBURG _ Louise Viola Seely Stufflebeam, 79, 322 W. Spruce St., Titusville, died Friday, Dec. 20, 1996, at the home of her daughter here.

She was born July 6, 1917, near Tryonville, Pa., a daughter of the late Burl and Pearl Morehead Seely.

Mrs. Stufflebeam from 1950-1954 worked for Ruel Smith Enterprises from 1950 to 1954. She also worked for Bashline Rest Home and the Rouse Home. She was a nurse's aide at Warren General Hospital for 15 years, retiring in 1982.

She was a member of Grand Valley United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Stufflebeam was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Fred T. Stufflebeam, whom she married on April 10, 1939, and who died on Oct. 9, 1977; a grandson, Johnny Ray Stufflebeam; a great-granddaughter, Hope Master; four sisters, Ula Johnson, Goldie Beardsley, Luella Gilson and Bertena Anderson; and two half brothers, Ernest and Arthur Seely.

Survivors include two sons, Larry and Garry Stufflebeam, both of Grand Valley, Pa.; two daughters, Leonard (Freda) Heliker of Grand Valley and Mrs. Stanley (JoAnn) Braswell of R.D. 2, Spartansburg; two sisters, Ila Moronski and Bessie Cornell, both of Titusville; nine grandchildren, Raymond Heliker, Diana Larson, Tammy Berkhous, Larry Stufflebeam Jr. and Anthony Stufflebeam, all of Grand Valley, and Thomas Braswell of Corry, Todd Braswell and Terri Novakovich, both of Spartansburg, and Scott Stufflebeam of Raleigh, N.C.; twelve great-grandchildren; a foster brother, Kenneth Brewster of Springfield, Va.; and several nieces and nephews, including a great-niece, Linda Jandrews of Mayville, N.Y.

No calling hours or funeral services will be observed. The Leo N. Hennes Funeral Home, Titusville, is handling arrangements.
