MRS. CARRIE S. WAKEMAN
North Fairfield – Mrs. Carrie Seeley Wakeman, 83, died at 5:30 a.m. today in Norwalk Memorial hospital. Mrs. Wakeman was admitted to the hospital on Dec. 15 after suffering a fractured hip in a fall at her home her. Her husband, William, died in 1941.
A native of Bridgeport, Conn., Mrs. Wakeman came here in 1926 and was a member of the Congregational church. Friends may call after noon Saturday at the Keiser funeral home here where services will be at 2 p.m. Monday with Rev. Frank Crofoot, Methodist church pastor, officiating. Burial will be in North Fairfield cemetery.
