WALES, Mary B.
Age 85, of Tioga, PA, died Saturday, July 3, 2010 at her home. Mary was born January 7, 1925 in Lawrence Twp., PA, a daughter of Elmer and Lelia (Barber) Seeley. She was a member of the Jackson Summit First Baptist Church. Mary enjoyed crocheting, knitting quilts, embroidery, cooking and gardening. She was employed at the former A & P in Horseheads for sixteen years and worked on the family farm for many years. Mary is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, William and Lonna Wales, Jr. of Elmira, NY, Terry L. Wales of Tioga, PA; four daughters and sons-in-law, Ann and Ralph Meckel of Crystal Lake, IL, Mina Wheeler of Hammondsport, NY, Robin Pequignot of Elmira, NY, and Ellen and Calvin Rollyson of Nancy, KY; a brother, William Seeley of Bath, NY; 25 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren. Mary was predeceased by a son, David Wales in 1983, seven brothers and sisters – Elmer Seeley, Laura Robinson, Louise Dixon, Madilyn Wallen, Dewella Plasky, Bessie Seeley and Carrie Seeley. Family and friends are invited to a memorial service at Mary's home on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. Memorial contributions may be made in Mary's memory to the American Cancer Society , 1948 E.
