SUSANNE R. WAMSLEY - FORT WAYNE

Susanne R. Wamsley, 80, of Fort Wayne, who had taught at Irwin Elementary School, died Saturday, Jan. 30, 1999, at Lutheran Hospital.

The Warren native retired in 1982 from teaching after 20 years of service, was a member of Simpson United Methodist Church and its Ladies Circle, National and Indiana State Teachers Association and enjoyed her family, reading and traveling.

Surviving are her husband, Meredith; sons Randal S. of Syracuse and Steven L. of Fort Wayne; daughters Kathleen S. Baker of Alpharetta, Ga., Carol E. Wamsley of Clarksville, Tenn., Elizabeth A. Wamsley of Venice, Calif., and Ellen M. Wamsley-Powell of Lafayette; a brother, Carl E. Seeley of Fort Wayne; and eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother.

Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 E. Dupont Road, with calling from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Lindenwood Cemetery.
