Way, Helen S. of Beacon, entered into rest Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Poughkeepsie. She was 82.
Born June 20, 1931 in Dobbs Ferry, NY, she was the daughter of the late William J. and Lila Duscharme Seeley.
Helen was a retired Corrections Officer for the Fishkill Correctional Facility, Fishkill. She was a member of St. Joachim's Church and Beacon Engine Ladies Auxiliary, Beacon.
She was the widow of the late Leroy Way.
Survivors include three children, Michael Way and his wife Jolene of Beacon, LeeAnn McCollum and her husband Timothy of Beacon, Donna M. Way and her partner Nicole Greene of Beacon, three brothers, Donald Seeley of Florida, Joseph Seeley of Fishkill, Thomas Seeley of Florida, seven grandchildren, Sarah, Timothy, Katie, Grant, Michael, Heather and Arniqua, five great-grandchildren, John, Emily, Penelope, Madison, Benjamin, a niece Sharon Tenbrock, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Monday, April 21, 2014 from 3:00 to 7:00 pm at Libby Funeral Home, Inc. 55 Teller Ave. Beacon, NY.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, April 22, at 11:00 am at St. Joachim's Catholic Church Leonard St. Beacon.
Interment will follow in St. Joachim's Cemetery, Beacon.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Beacon Volunteer Ambulance Corp., PO Box 54 Beacon, NY 12508 or to your favorite charity.
