Former Yucaipa resident Edith Helen Wride, 93, of Danbury, Conn., died March 20 in Danbury. The cause of death is unknown, pending a doctor’s report.

Wride, a native of Pasadena, lived in Yucaipa 80 years.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Yucaipa school board and Yucaipa First Baptist Church, where she served as a Sunday school teacher and deaconess.

Survivors include two daughters, Marian Way of Santa Ana and Linda Bette of Southbury, Conn.; her sister, Adda M. Larson of St. Paul, Minn.; and five grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Saturday at Emmerson-Bartlett Redlands Chapel, 703 Brookside Ave. Graveside service will follow at 11 a.m. at Hillside Memorial Park, 1540 Alessandro Road, Redlands. Emmerson-Bartlett Yucaipa is directing.

The family suggests donations to Yucaipa First Baptist Church, 34784 Yucaipa Blvd., Yucaipa 92399.
