Lillian M. Youngers

A Mass of Christian Burial for longtime teacher Lillian M. Youngers, 88, of Davies Road will be offered at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Route 98, Varysburg. Prayers will be said at 10 in Weeks Funeral Home, 123 N. Main St. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Youngers died Wednesday (Dec. 20, 1995) in Wyoming County Nursing Facility.

A Warsaw native, the former Lillian Seely was a graduate of Warsaw High School and Geneseo Normal School for Teachers. She taught for 30 years in area schools and retired in 1969 as a second-grade teacher at Sheldon Elementary School. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church, Warsaw Grange and New York State Retired Teachers Association.

Her husband, Walter H., died in 1979. Surviving are two sons, Frank of Merkel, Texas, and Walter G. of Varysburg; a daughter, Etta Winter of Pavilion; a brother, Kenneth Seely of Rochester; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
