| WANTED - Seeley Artifacts to Share Click Here! |
SGS has completed its first DNA Test Project. Its objective was to help us understand the relationship between Robert Seeley (1602-1667) and Obadiah Seeley of Stamford, CT who died in 1657.
Information about the current Seeley DNA Lineage Project and DNA results can be viewed at:
Have you made arrangements for the preservation of your family research records and papers? If no one in your family is interested, please consider sending your research records to the Seelye Research Center, care of SGS Librarian, Pamela D. Turner, 1935 Okeechobee Drive, Colorado Springs, CO 80915-1743 . Unless you have already done so, please consider sending your ancestor line to John R. Seeley, 160 E. 234 Street, Carson, CA 90745. John will add your information to the SGS Ancestor File Index. Then he will forward your information to the Seelye Research Center in Abilene. Do not waste your valuable years of research by having your family toss your papers in the trash. Tell your family of your wishes, even put it in writing. Secondly, let the Seeley Genealogical Society know of your plans. Placing your papers in the Seelye Research Center will make them available to Seeley researchers for years to come.
