HANNIBAL - Clara Lidora Seley, 99, of St. Louis and formerly of Hannibal, died Saturday, Aug. 2, 2003, at Christian Hospital Northeast in St. Louis.

Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 6, at Smith Funeral Home & Chapel in Hannibal. The Revs. Jill Walter-Penn and Gary Gray will officiate.

Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 7, at Edgewood Cemetery in Chillicothe.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until time of services Wednesday at the funeral home in Hannibal.

Mrs. Seley was born Jan. 1, 1904, in the Oklahoma Territory to Fred and Sara Jane Clark McGuire.

She was married to Lyle L. Seley on Nov. 18, 1933, in Chillicothe. He preceded her in death Jan. 12, 1992.

Survivors include one son, Jerry Seley and wife, Leslie, of Lake Saint Louis; four grandchildren, Lynn Johnson, Brian Seley, Stewart Seley and Sean Seley; three stepgrandchildren, Robin Moulin, Randy Moulin and Rodney Moulin; and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Irene Rogers and Mary McGuire.

Mrs. Seley was a member of Park United Methodist Church, when she lived in Hannibal. She recently was a member of St. Andrew United Methodist Church in Florissant.
