Publication Kenna Rae Seeley-Nielsen 4/3/1954 ~ 4/26/2009 Our loving mother, grandmother, and friend Kenna Rae Seeley-Nielsen, passed from her life here on earth, to continue her eternal journey on April 26, 2009 at her home in Provo, Utah. Kenna, age 55, was born in Mt. Pleasant, Utah on April 3, 1954 to H. Carlton, and Elverda E. Seeley. On April 5, 1974 she married her high school sweetheart Allen B. Nielsen in the Manti Temple. During their 19 year marriage they loved and cared for dozens of foster children, and had three of their own. Kenna was an active member of the LDS church, she had a strong testimony, and she loved her Heavenly Father. She enjoyed quilting, tole painting, and cross stitching. In addition to craftwork, Kenna had a talent for writing poems, and singing. She is survived by her three children Jeffrey, Lacey, and Megan; 10 grandchildren; her brother Hal, and sisters Carma and Sandra. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 1, 2009, at 12:00 noon at the LDS Stake Center, 295 S. State Street, Mt. Pleasant. Friends and family may call Thursday, April 30, 2009 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Berg Mortuary, 500 North State, Orem and from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. prior to the service at the church.
