Peacefully at his residence, on Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2011, Alan Percy Seeley, husband of Vicki Noreen (Cline) Seeley, of Campobello, N.B.; born in Eastport, Me.

Alan was employed with Energy NB for almost 30 years as a linesman. He served as treasurer for Local IBEW.

Surviving, in addition to his wife Vicki, are his children, Conrad (Veronica), of Campobello, N.B., and Beth Seeley, of Moncton, N.B.; two grandsons, Adam and Declan; five sisters: Fran of St. Stephen, N.B., Myrna of Campobello, N.B., Charlene, Ethel Anne and Lee Anne, all of Maine; one brother, Paul, of New York; special in-laws, Janet and Winston Skipper Cline; two brothers-in-law, Joe and Maurice; several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Alan was predeceased by Percy and Maxine Seeley, Frank and Eudora MacDonald, one brother, Merlyn, and his mother-in-law, Marion Cline.

Rested at North Road Baptist Church, Welshpool, N.B., from where the service was held on Monday, Feb. 7, 2011 at 2 p.m. Pastor Rick Snell officiated. The organist was Rhoda Matthews. Honourary pallbearers were Garth Fitzgerald, Omar Turk Brunett and John McEachern. Active pallbearers were Mike Calder, Robert Newman, Raye Brown, Laurie Cline, Harvey Matthews, and Tony Torrence.

A reception followed in the church hall. Staff members from Energy NB attended the service in a formal body. Pastor Robert Weaver and Fr. Eugene Gaffey were in attendance. The interment will take place in the spring at Wilsons Beach Cemetery, Head Harbour Road.
