Bernard A. Seeley. 78, of 96 Salem Walk, Milford, died today in Norwalk Hospital.

Mr. Seeley was a former resident of Norwalk, residing on Lounsbury Avenue for 60 years. He was a native of New York City and was husband of the late Jeanette Sheehan Seeley. He was retired from the First District Water Department in Norwalk. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War I and a member of the American Legion.

He is survived by a son, Bernard G. Seeley of West Lake Village, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs. Warren Connelly of Milford; a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Mongelli; and two grandchildren.

Services will be held Saturday at 9:30 a.m. in the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave., Norwalk, and at 10 o’clock in St. Philip’s Church where a mass of Christian burial will be celebrated. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery, West Norwalk. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
