Bonnie "Bonnie-Mom" Seeley passed away after a lengthy illness on Wednesday May 27th, 2015 just one month shy of her 75th birthday. She died at home in her own bed where she wanted to be, with her daughter and son by her side.

Bonnie was born on June 27th, 1940 to Marjorie and Harold Seeley in Washington DC. She spent her childhood in Tacoma Park, Maryland. In 1965 she moved to Reno, Nevada where she lived until her death. Bonnie was an amazing woman, locally famous for her athleticism, water skiing triumphs, hard work and loyalty. Her Disappearing Marshmallow Brownies and Sugar Bun Loaf will live on forever. She brought smiles to everyone she met with her great wit and kind humor. The world was a better place in her presence, and her happy kind spirit will live on in all of us.

Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Amanda L. Neff, her son, Jay A. Sourwine, her best friends Anna & Paul Rognlie in North Carolina, and her sister Ann Remington and niece Cheryl Remington of Rockville, Maryland. She was preceded in death by the love of her life Harry "Skip" Anderson, who died on August 11th, 1995.

A special note from her daughter, Amanda: "I will miss you every single day momma. Taking care of you during your final months and days was an honor for me. I promise to carry forward "The Scooby-Doo" as best as I can. I pray that you are now in a wonderful place where you are feeling no more pain or discomfort. You made people smile wherever you went. You will be remembered for the remarkable, intelligent woman that you were."
