Catherine Mary Elizabeth Higgins Seeley, 71, died Wednesday, August 8th, 2012
Born in Wilkes Barre on November 6, 1940, she was the oldest of five daughters born to Eugene and Jane Reilly Higgins.
Catherine was a graduate of Dallas High School.
She was the wife of the late Donald Butch Seeley who passed away in 2002; together they raised three children and resided most of their life in Penndale, Pa.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Catherine, was preceded in death by her son Mark Edward Seeley, and her sister Ann Marie Higgins
Surviving are her son Michael Higgins Seeley, Meshoppen; daughter, Maureen Elizabeth Seeley Evansky, and her husband, Edward, of Pringle, with whom Catherine resided; grandchildren, Shaina Partington of Edwardsville, Carly Evansky and her fiance, Trevor Eisenhower, of Edwardsville; Mark Evansky of Pringle; Alyssa (Witt) Evansky Gove and her husband, Sean; Adam Devens; great-grandchildren, Taylor and Reilly Paulewicz, Madison and Mason Evansky, Malachi and Althea Gove, Magdalena Eisenhower, and a special mention, great-granddaughter Sabrina and her father, Artie Partington; sisters Jane Monteleone and her husband, Gabe; Adele Gacek and Virginia Higgins
The family will celebrate the life of Catherine Mary at a private service to be held at the Lehman-Gregory Funeral Home Inc., 281 Chapel St., Swoyersville on Thursday August 16 from 4 to 6 p.m. Condolences can be made to the Lehman-Gregory Funeral Home Inc.
