Seeley, Cecilia A. "Cele" (nee Gabrys) Age 85. Passed away Monday, May 6, 2013 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Joliet, she was a lifelong Joliet area resident. Retired after many years of service as a secretary at the Will County Courthouse. Preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Pauline (nee Strysik) Gabrys; two brothers, Richard and Leonard Gabrys; niece, Kathleen (nee Keca) Worden; and great-niece, Kerry Ann Keca. Survived by her loving husband, Robert G. Seeley of Joliet; one sister, Margaret (Daniel) Keca of Joliet; and one brother, Frank (late Frances) Gabrys; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the staffs of Dr. Suh and JOHA, 4th floor ICU at Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center and Joliet Area Community Hospice for their kind and compassionate care. A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 901 Elizabeth St., Joliet. Memorials in her name to Joliet Area Community Hospice or JOHA Foundation would be appreciated. As it was Cecilia's wish, Cremation Rites have been accorded with inurnment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
