Death of Mrs. E.E. Seeley

Last Friday afternoon, August 2, 1912, at the family home in this city occurred the death of Mrs. Eugene E. Seeley. She had been poorly for some time. The funeral services were held at the home Sunday and interment took place in Union Cemetery. Rev. J.R. Caffyn of the Methodist church had charge of the services.

Mrs. Seeley was born in Virginia, May 26, 1854 and came with her parents to Iowa when she was two years old. They settled at Point Pleasant in this county. On September 10th, 1885 she was united in marriage to Mr. E.E. Seeley. To them were born four children, all of whom are living. They are Mrs. Mabel Staley, Rcine; Mrs. Eleanor Harkness, Buffalo Center; William of Lansing, Minnesota, and Cleve at home. Besides the husband and children there are four brothers and two sisters: Mrs. Madison Cooper, Racine; Mrs. Martha Hornung, Hubbard; Joseph and Ernest Mitterer, Buffalo Center; A.W. Mitterer, Eldora; and John Mitterer, Point Pleasant.

The deceased was a member of the Methodist church and had many friends who grieve her death.
