07/22/07— COCHRANTON - Clarence W. (Bim) Seeley, 77, of 121 River St., Cochranton, died Friday, July 20, 2007 at his residence.

Born March 28, 1930, in Rocky Grove, he was the son of the late Walter and Cora Miller Seeley. He married Charlsie Halterman Aug. 19, 1950, and she survives.

For 21 years he worked at Morco Inc. in Cochranton then went to PPG and worked for 22 years before retiring in 1995.

He was a member of the Deckards United Methodist Church, the Cochranton Masonic Hall 790, the Meadville Eagles, and the Cochranton American Legion James L. Stein Post 836.

He served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing and spending time with his dog, Queenie. For several years he was the caretaker and sextant at Peters Cemetery.

In addition to his wife of 56 years, he is survived by two daughters, Ann Johnson Miller and her husband, Larry, of Central, S.C., and Carmen Sheets and her husband, Wetzel, of Richmond, Va.; six stepgrandchildren; several stepgreat-grandchldren; a sister, Betty Hollabaugh of Meadville; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Gaylord Seeley.

Calling hours are Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Dickson Family Funeral Home Inc. 123 S. Franklin St., Cochranton. Cochranton American Legion Post 836 will conduct a memorial service at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Funeral service will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Deckards United Methodist Church with the Rev. Chris Shreve of the church and the Rev. Lee Baker, officiating. Interment with military honors by the Cochranton American Legion Post 836 will be in Peters Cemetery.

The family suggests memorials may be made to the Deckards United Methodist Church, 28388 Deckards Road, Cochranton, Pa., 16314.
