Clarence W. Seeley, age 87, longtime Two Rivers resident, died unexpectedly Friday, January 23, 2015 at the Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay, surrounded by his family.

Clarence was born January 4, 1928 in Hubbard, Ohio, son of the late Roy and Edith (Stewert) Seeley. He attended schools in Ohio before entering the United States Army. His years of military service included serving 2 years in Korea, and he was honorably discharged on October 4, 1952. On July 11, 1953, he married Diana M. Gilbert at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church in Two Rivers. She preceded him in death June 17, 2013. Clarence was employed with Manitowoc Engineering Co. for 35 years, retiring on January 4, 1990. After retirement he enjoyed woodworking, fishing, golfing, and especially enjoyed the morning social gatherings with friends each day at McDonalds in Two Rivers. He was an avid Cleveland Browns fan; and was a member of the Two Rivers VFW Post #1248 where he also served as past commander.

Survivors include one son, Tom Seeley of Florida, and special friend, Cecilia Marques; one daughter & son-in-law, Kay and Todd Wojta of Madison; and two grandsons, Eric Wojta, and Kyle Wojta & his wife, Allison. He is further survived by one sister, Madelon Grant of Ohio; two brothers-in-law, Bill (Pat) Gilbert, and Norris Gilbert, all of Two Rivers; along with several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents and his wife, he was also preceded in death by his father-in-law & mother-in-law: Adolph and Ruth Gilbert; brothers: Floyd, Edward, Clayton, and John "Dick" Seeley; one sister, Edith "Boots" (Eldor) Butler; and several brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at Calvary Lutheran Church, 1921 Adams St., Two Rivers. Rev. Kay Richter will officiate at the service, with burial in Knollwood Memorial Park, Hwy. 310, Manitowoc at a later date. Military graveside rites will be accorded at the church immediately following the service by members of the VFW Post #1248 and American Legion Post #165 of Two Rivers.

The family will greet relatives and friends at Calvary Lutheran Church, Tuesday morning from 9:00 until 10:45 a.m. There will be no Monday evening visitation.

Memorials may be made to Calvary Lutheran Church or the Honor's Flight Program for WWII and Korean Veterans.

Clarence's family would like to extend a special thank you to the staffs of the E.R. and Critical Care Units of Aurora Medical Center in Two Rivers, and the I.C.U. staff of Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay for the excellent care and compassion given to our dear dad and grandfather.
