Clifford Duane Seeley
Temple, TX: Clifford Duane Seeley, age 86 of Temple, TX, passed away on July 27, 2012 at the VA Hospital in Temple. Cliff was born on July 15, 1926 in Groton, NY to the late Claude John Seeley and Bertha Jacobs Seeley. He attended schools in Ludlowville, NY. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1952 and served during the Korean War. He was honorably discharged with the rank of Corporal in 1954 at Ft. Hood, Texas. He owned and operated Cliff's Garage in Ithaca, NY for 60 years, retiring in 1996. Cliff enjoyed stock car racing and watching the Yankees on TV. He was also predeceased by his beloved wife and devoted mother, Betty Chacona Seeley; one brother, John; five sisters, Eloise, Carrie, Agnes, Gladys, Lucy, and two stepsons, Martin and David Mikula. He is survived by his very devoted companion, Dorothy Kuban of Temple, TX; a daughter, Gay Lee Mathews (Lewie) of Newfield, NY; a son, Richard Seeley (Wendy) of Ithaca, NY and an adopted son, Jim (Brenda) Seeley of Trumansburg, NY; two special nephews, Dick Bowker of Ocala, FL and Dave Bowker of Panama, OK; several nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren; his former wife, Marilyn Seeley of Trumansburg, NY and a host of other family and friends.
A private family service will be held at Lakeview Cemetery.
