Edna M. Seeley
AGE: 73 • Belford
Edna M. Seeley, 73, a longtime resident of Belford, passed away Thursday, July 5, 2012, at Bayshore Community Hospital. She was a legal secretary at Roberts, Pillsbury & Carton in Atlantic Highlands where she met her husband and then worked for Healy, Falk & Maloney in Belford. Later in the 90's, she was a phlebotomist at Riverview Medical Center. Edna was a communicant of the Parish of Saint Mary in New Monmouth. She was a past president of the Independent Fire Co. Ladies Aux. Edna enjoyed bus trips to Atlantic City, knitting and reading, but most of all spending time with her grandkids and hosting family gatherings in her home.
Edna is survived by her husband of 53 years, Elwood Seeley, two daughters, Debbie Seeley of Belford, Gerri and her husband Tony Rizzetta of Egg Harbor Twp.; three sons, William and his wife Cheryl of Belford, Edward and his wife Julie of Middlesex, Elwood Jr. and his wife Linda of Barnegat. She is also survived by 2 stepdaughters, Lynn and JoAnn; 7 grandchildren, Christina Rizzetta, Kyra, Steven, Patrick, Megan, Kirk and Ryan Seeley; and 3 great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Mary's Chapel at 10:30 am on Monday, July 9. Friends and relatives may pay their respects Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm and again 9-10 am Monday at Scott & Kedz Home for Funerals, 153 Church St., Belford.
