Publication PENSACOLA, FLA. - Eleanor Francis Seeley, 88, of Pensacola, Fla., passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2013, at her residence.

She was born on May 19, 1925, in Reed City to William Squires and Gertrude Stieg, was raised in Reed City and was a 1943 graduate of Reed City High School. On May 19, 1944, she was married to James Seeley who passed away in 2003. She was a past member of the United Methodist Church in Reed City and enjoyed cooking meals for her large family.

She is survived by her daughter, Carol (James) Brady, of Pensacola, Fla.; grandchildren, Danielle (Bill) Ducham, of Reed City, Kami (Miguel) Ruiz, of Colorado, Cristi Parker, of Pensacola, Fla., Kathy (Matt) Nelson, of Pensacola, Fla.; 12 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Lavonne Mackellar, of Reed City.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Gertrude Squires; husband, James Seeley; brothers, Eugene Squires and Dale Squires; and sisters, Maxine Vanderhoof and Dorothy Cookingham; and her daughter, Nita Brooks.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2013, at the Pruitt-Livingston Funeral Home in Reed City, with Pastor Teresa Petersen officiating. Burial will be at Woodland Cemetery in Reed City. Visitation with the family will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 19, 2013, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions in her name be made to Covenant Hospice, 5041 N. 12th Ave., Pensacola, FL 32504 or to the American Heart Association.
