Elmer L. Seeley

Services for Elmer L. Seeley, 79, Tucson, Ariz., a former Rockford resident 25 years who died at 7:40 Saturday in Tucson, were held this afternoon in Tucson.

Burial will be Thursday in Willwood Burial Park here.

He moved from Rockford to Tucson two years ago. He was a former carpenter.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Elmer Davis, Tucson, and Mrs. Irene Hallett, Los Angeles, Calif.; four grandchildren; a brother; Jess, Tucson, and a sister, Mrs. Georgia Carlson, DeKalb.

SEELEY – Elmer L. Seeley, 79, Tucson, Ariz., died at 7:40 a.m. Saturday, March 2, 1974, in Devon Gales Nursing Home, Tucson, after a six-month illness. Born July 17, 1894 in Malta, Ill., son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert G. Seeley. Lived two years in Tucson, moving there from Rockford, where he resided 25 years. Married to the former Henrietta Wittie in Malta Aug. 10, 1914. She died in 1961. Employed as a carpenter. Survivors include: two daughters, Mrs. Elmer Davis, Tucson, and Mrs. Irene Hallett, Los Angeles, Calif.; four grandchildren; one brother, Jess Seeley, Tucson, and a sister, Mrs. Georgia Carlson, DeKalb.

Services were Monday afternoon, March 4, in Tucson, Ariz. Burial Thursday, March 7, in Willwood Burial Park here. Local arrangements by Long-Klontz Funeral Home, 428 Park Avenue.
