Elsie Seeley

Elsie May Marshall Seeley, resident of West River since 1967 died of heart failure Wednesday at her home after a brief illness.

Mrs. Seeley was born in Bridgeport, Conn. She retired in 1972 after working 26 years in the Department of the Army’s personnel department in Washington.

Her interests included (not legible) and traveling.

Her husband High R. Seeley died in 1963.

Surviving are one daughter, Gail S. Ward of West River; three sons, Raynor Marshall Seeley of Boulder, Colo., Robert Hugh Seeley of Morristown, N.J., and Hugh R. Seeley Jr. of Annapolis, one brother, George Marshall of Trumbull, Conn.; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in Arlington National Cemetery. Arrangements are by Hardesty Funeral Home Galesville.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 2 Reservoir Circle, Suite 203, Baltimore, MD 21208
