Death of Mrs. Etta B. Seeley

Etta B. Seeley, aged 73, died at 8 o’clock last night at the family home in Asbury, Mo., after a short illness following a stoke of paralysis. She was a member of the Baptist church of Asbury, and of the Eastern Star and D.A.R. in Joplin, Mo.

Mrs. Seeley was born in Adams Basin, N.Y., Jan. 7, 1848. As a small child she settled with her parents near Clairinda, Ia. In 1894 she moved with her husband to Coffeyville, Kas., where the family resided until 1907. In 1916 she moved to Asbury, where she lived until the time of her death.

She is survived by her husband, Horace H. Seeley of Asbury, and seven children, Frederick, Beaufort, N.C.; Charles, Harvey, Ill.; George, Asbury, Mo.; Mrs. James Griffin, Peru South America; Mrs. J.S. Starns, Phoenix, Ariz.; Mrs. Edna R. Hall, Miami, Fla.; Mrs. Howard C. Bishop Baldwin Park, Calif.

The body was brought here last night and will lie in state at the Pittsburg Undertaking company until today, when it will be shipped to Coffeyville, where funeral services and burial will be held.
