Publication GENEVA - Faye E. Seeley, 78, of Argyle St., passed away unexpectedly at her summer home on E. Lake Rd., on Monday (June 9, 2014).

Friends may call at the DeVaney-Bennett Funeral Home, 181 N. Main St., Geneva on Wednesday (June 11, 2014) from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday (June 12, 2014) in the Presbyterian Church in Geneva. The Rev. Deborah Lind-Schmitz, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery.

Memorial contributions, in her memory, may be made to the Salvation Army, Geneva Library, or to the Presbyterian Church In Geneva.

Faye was born in Geneva and was a lifelong resident. She was the daughter of the late Gilbert H. and Olive Pauline Disbrow Travis. She was employed for many years with the Phillips GTE Sylvania in Seneca Falls and following her retirement she enrolled in FLCC and earned an Associate's degree. She was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She was a volunteer for the Seneca County Office of the Aging and was an active member of the Presbyterian Church in Geneva and the BPOE Elks lodge in Seneca Falls.

Surviving are her husband, Frank; her son, Frank J. of Corning; three grandchildren, Franklin (Autumn) Seeley IV of Corning, Amanda (Michael) Cervoni of Painted Post; Travis (Renee) Seeley of Corning; ten grandchildren: Kayla, Frank, Adam, Fayellen, Alyssa, Christian, Caden, Justin, Hannah, and Haley; three brothers, Thomas Travis of Waterloo, William Travis of Seneca Falls, and James Travis of Michigan; two sisters, Molly Mesmer of Calif. and Patricia Travis of Romulus; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her daughter-in-law, Darlene and several brothers and sisters.
