George J. Seeley, 78, of Liverpool, passed away suddenly on Monday. George was born in Lockport, Illinois and was a U.S. Navy veteran. He was employed for more than 24 years at P & C Foods as a warehouse supervisor. George enjoyed classic cars, fixing them and doing body work. He was predeceased by his sister, Patricia Bakos.

Surviving to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 55 years, Mary Ann (Smith); sons, Gregory (Linda) of Liverpool; Brian (Rene) of Cocoa Beach, FL; daughter, Sheree (Peter) Procopio of Liverpool; brothers, James (Dori) of Joliet, IL, Gerald (Flo) of Joliet, IL; his sisters, Sister Mary Frances Seeley OSF of Joliet, IL, Geraldine Thayer of Joliet, IL; grandchildren, Kyle, Tyler, Zach, Alex, Taylor and Colin Seeley, Preston Procopio; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday at 11 a.m. at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners and at 11:30 a.m. in Christ the King Church, where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated. Rite of Committal and burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home, 3541 State Route 31, Baldwinsville.
