Greg Seeley, a lifetime area resident, died unexpectedly on January 26, 2013 at Orange Regional Medical Center. He was 42.
The son of Robert and Sandy Seeley, he was born on September 2, 1970 in Middletown. He graduated from Pine Bush High School, Class of 1988.
Greg will be remembered first for his faithfulness to family and friends and his willingness to help others. He had a strong work ethic and was content with the simple and important things in life. He was his family's "Gentle Giant".
Greg is survived by his loving family: his parents; daughters, Valerie Martin of Albany, Jamie Martin of Middletown, Amanda Seeley of Oklahoma and Karen Root of Chittenango, NY; his brothers, Robert Seeley Jr, Ken Seeley and his wife, Mary of Pine Bush and Ian Seeley and his wife, Heidi of Middletown; and six grandchildren, Edward, Derek, Jeremiah, Hailee, Lucas and Martin.
Visitation hours are from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, January 31, 2013 at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc, 130 Highland Avenue, Middletown, NY 10940. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday evening. Cremation will be private.
