GUY E. SEELEY, 74 of Canton RD 2, died Saturday, Dec. 22, 1979 at Troy Community Hospital. Born April 23, 1905 in Canton Township the son of Harvey and Nelle Jones Seeley, he was a member of the East Troy United Methodist Church. Mr. Seeley was retired from the Ward Foundry in Blossburg where he was employed for 24 years. He was a retired farmer, a member of the Minnequa Grange and a life member of the Canton Fire Co. Guy and Alice Seeley celebrated 54 years of marriage Aug. 31, 1979. He is survived by his wife, Alice Smith Seeley; two daughters, Mrs. Phyllis Stanton of Canton, Mrs. Layton (Nelle) Calkins of Troy RD 2, and Mrs. Ted (Marie) Foust of Canton RD 2; a son, Tom Seeley of Canton RD 2; two brothers, Lloyd H. Seeley of Canton RD 2 and Gordon W. Seeley of Troy, 11 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Services will be held Monday at 3 p.m. at the conclusion of the calling hours at the Vickery Funeral Home, Troy with the Rev. Ann Palmer officiating. Interment will be in Windfall Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the East Troy United Methodist Church.
