Swayzee - Herman V. Seeley, 79, 110 W. Stewart St., Swayzee, died at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Wesleyan Nursing Home in Marion.

He was a life resident of Grant County and a retired Green Township farmer. Seeley served as a Grant County Commissioner for 1950-1954. He was a member, Elder, and Trustee of the Jones Chapel Christian Church in Green Township. He was also a member of Grant lodge 637 F&AM, Swayzee Chapter 345 Order of Eastern Star and the Swayzee Lions Club.

Mr. Seeley is survived by his wife, LaVonne; three daughters, nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Rybolt Funeral Home, 314 N. Washington St., Swayzee, with Rev. Avery Miley officiating. Burial will be in the Knox Chapel Cemetery in Green Township.
