Henderson, TN: James Paul Seeley age 90 passed away January 18, 2013 at his home.

He was born and reared in Chester County, the son of the late John Henry and Dovie Ann Wallace Seeley. He attended Chester County schools. He worked in the C C Camps prior to WWII. He was a barber as a young man and entered the U.S. Navy, August of 1942 and served on a PT Boat in the South Pacific and returned in 1945.

He married Rachel Kelley in 1946. He attended Cohen Electrical School in Chicago. They returned to Henderson and he and his wife Rachel owned and operated Seeley Electric in downtown Henderson for fifty years. They retired in 1997.

Mr. Seeley loved to garden and share his vegetables with family and friends. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Henderson.

He is survived by his wife Rachel Kelley Seeley of Henderson; a son, James Donald Seeley and wife Charlotte of Henderson; a granddaughter, Beth Seeley of Nashville and a daughter-in-law, Renee Seals of Memphis.

He was preceded in death by a son, Rickey Paul Seeley in 1982 and nine brothers and sisters, John Hall Seeley, Herman Seeley, Thurman Seeley, Lloyd Dyer, Annie Ruth Seeley, Magalene Jones, Allie Faye Cooper, Velma Stanfield and Lois Melton
