SEELEY, Janet Trent, 80, passed peacefully on Saturday, November 20, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert D. Seeley. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, James Philip Cook and his wife, Susan Wyatt Cook; her grandson, Philip Trent Cook and his wife, Amanda Whitworth Cook; and two great-grandsons, Jackson and Wyatt Cook. Janet was born and raised in Roanoke, Ala. She settled in Columbia, S.C., where she retired from Ft. Jackson. Janet spent the last 12 years residing in Richmond to be close to her family. A service in celebration of her life will be held 4 p.m. Tuesday, November 23, at Bliley's - Staples Mill, 8510 Staples Mill Rd. Her remains will be laid to rest in the family cemetery in Roanoke, Ala. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in her memory to Westminster Canterbury, 1600 Westbrook Ave., Richmond, Va. 23227.
