Manchester, NH — Janice E. Seeley, 78, of Manchester, formerly of Dade City, Fla., and Seabrook, died on her birthday, Sunday, August 25, 2013, at Concord Hospital.

She was born in Newburyport, Mass., on August 25, 1935, and was the daughter of the late Ralph W. and Laura H. (Fowler) Walton. She had resided in Tampa, Fla., for 22 years before moving to Dade City in 2003, and previously had resided in Seabrook. Since 2011, she had made her home with her son in Manchester.

Mrs. Seeley was a quality control inspector for Data General in Portsmouth. She later worked several years as a certified medical assistant for two physicians at medical offices in Florida.

She was the wife of the late Myrl "Lee" Seeley, who predeceased her in 2010.

Family members include her son, Warren S. Eaton of Manchester; three stepdaughters, Darlene Weghorst of Gray, Maine, Laurie D'Amore of Haverhill, Mass., and Barbara M. Seeley of Boston; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also predeceased by her son, Richard Eaton Jr. in 1986, her daughter, Laura Perkins in 2006; and her sister, Gertrude and her husband, Ernest Janvrin, both in 2007.

ARRANGEMENTS: Visiting hours will be from 4 to 5:30 p.m., on Friday, August 30, in the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, 811 Lafayette Road, Hampton. The service will immediately follow at 5:30 p.m., in the funeral home. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
