Dies From Injuries
Injuries suffered Sunday afternoon when she leaped from a rig drawn by a runaway horse caused the death Monday morning of Mrs. Jean Ward Seeley, 21, of Evans Mills, Route 1. Mrs. Seeley died at the House of the Good Samaritan. Death resulted from a fractured skull. She married Russell Seeley on August 8, 1925, at Sterling, Ont., and they moved to Evans Mills about a year ago, where Mr. Seeley was employed on the state roads. Her husband, her infant daughter, Marjorie; her parents, three brothers and five sisters, survive.

Mrs. Jean Ward Seeley, 21, of Evans Mills, near Watertown, died at a hospital in that city Monday, the victim of the first runaway in many years in that vicinity. She was injured in leaping from the carriage. Mr. Seeley and his six-months-old child also leaped were uninjured.
