ENID -- Services for Johnny J. Seeley will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Ladusau-Evans Chapel in Enid with the Rev. Steve Cutter officiating. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Seeley was born Feb. 7, 1925, in Kansas City, Kan., to Lincoln G. and Rosa Howell Seeley. He died Dec. 13, 1999, in the local hospital.

He moved to Oklahoma in 1928, served with the Navy Seabees in the South Pacific, and returned to Enid where he married Virginia "Babe" Lenox Dec. 22, 1945. He was employed by Western Dairy Supply, Gold Spot Dairy and as a clerk for the U.S. Postal Service for 32 years before he retired in 1991.

He is survived by his wife, of the home; a son, David Seeley, Ardmore; a sister, Wanda Joyce, Tyler, Texas; a brother, Robert, Warrensburg Mo.; stepsister, Theta Lyda, Enid; and stepbrother, Robert DeMoss. He was preceded in death by a son, Stephen Mark.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation.
