ACTON – Mrs. Lena E. (Degen) Seeley, 77, of 23 Deacon Hunt Drive, West Action, formerly of Fitchburg, died Monday in Emerson Hospital, Concord. She was the widow of Charles E. Seeley.

Mrs. Seeley was born in Greylock, a daughter of the late John and Ida (Hentzy) Degen, and was a retired employe of Art Les Electronic Co. of Watertown.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mary Patton of Bellingham and Mrs. Bernice Groppi of West Acton, with whom she made her home.

She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Fannie Erickson of Fitchburg, and Mrs. Alma Stoeher of Adams and seven grandchildren. Another sister, Mrs. Emma Frick died last Thursday in Fitchburg.

The funeral will be held Wednesday from the Smith Funeral Home, Fitchburg with a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Bernard’s Church, Fitchburg. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Fitchburg.
