Woodhull, NY | Linda D. Seeley, 61, of County Route 102, Woodhull, passed away suddenly at home on Sunday, March 16, 2014.
Linda was born in Blossburg, Pa. on June 13, 1952, the daughter of Ed and Frances Rudy (Causer) Main. She grew up in Elkland, Pa in the Frog Town neighborhood. She had once worked at Electri-Cord Manufacturing in Westfield and also as a Certified Nurse's Aide at Geneva General Hospital in Geneva, NY.
A lover of playing Euchre, Linda would participate whenever and wherever she could find friends to play with. She even began to organize euchre tournaments in the area. She was a former member and chaplain of the Elkland Moose Lodge.
On April 29, 1978, she and James W. Seeley were married in Westfield, Pa. Jim preceded her in death on June 19, 2012. Also predeceasing Linda were her son, Edward Dickerson in 2006 and her brother, Eddie Main.
Linda was known for expressing her honest and straight forward thoughts and feelings.
Surviving are her son, James Dickerson (Veronica Gardner) of Farmington, Pa., her daughter, Paula Smith (Chad Wheeler) of Jasper, her grandchildren, Kayla Seeley, Andrew Learn, Ashlynn Gardner, Dustin Clark and Darren Clark, her sister, Anna Kettell, her brothers, Art Causer, Lawrence "Buggy" Causer, Ronnie Stocum and Jim Causer along with several nieces and nephews.
Following Linda's wishes, there will be no services.
