Lloyd Linus Seeley

April 15, 1930 - June 7, 2012

Lloyd was born on April 15, 1930, the fifth child of ten, and was the son of Walter and Beatrice (Black) Seeley.

Lloyd went to work in his teens on his sister Gertrude's farm. He loved working on the farm and in the woods with his late brother Gerald. He then went on to drive the mini schoolbus for over twenty five years.

Lloyd and Zeta were married on May 18th, 1963. They went on to have four children and later on they became grand parents to ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Family was everything to Lloyd and he loved the children. He acted as grandfather to many other children besides the ten he had.

Lloyd was very active in his community. He was a member of the Loyal Orange Order for 58 years, was a volunteer fireman and was instrumental in the construction and operating of the Hammondvale Rink. He was a self taught carpenter who built several of the homes in the Hammondvale area.

Lloyd enjoyed fishing, playing cards and listening to fiddle music, especially when his son Gary was step dancing. He had a great memory for telling jokes and insisted no one could leave without hearing at least three. He enjoyed hockey and watching the Toronto Maple Leafs. He was a die hard fan. He also loved the day parties at the Titus household and wonderful memories were made during those parties.

Lloyd was kind and was the first to step forward if he could help in any way. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend.

He will be missed...
