Loren F. Seeley age 80 of Victoria passed away on Monday November 24, 2014 at the BeeHive in Excelsior.

Funeral Service Saturday November 29, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Trinity Lutheran Church (601 East 2nd Street) in Waconia with Rev. Dave Erbel as officiate. Visitation 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Interment in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.

Loren was born on January 14, 1934 in Iona, South Dakota the son of Forrest and LaVern (Shannon) Seeley. He was baptized and confirmed in Chamberlain, South Dakota. On October 7, 1961 Loren was united in marriage to Frayne Jackson in Starbuck.

Loren was a veteran of the US army serving from 1951 to 1953. He had several interests in life which included investing in the stock market, dealing with real estate and rental properties, home construction remodeling, traveling and pheasant hunting. One of his greatest joys was spending time with his grandchildren. You could find Loren on the lake boating and occasionally he would drop a line to catch a few. Loren was a quiet, gentle and calm man.

Loren was preceded in death by his son Brian Loren Seeley; an infant daughter; parents Forrest and LaVern Seeley; brothers-in-law Wayne “Pete” Glissendorf and Ralph Sanvik; father-in-law and mother-in-law Albert and Myrtle Jackson; sister-in-law Yvonne Nygaard; niece Nancy Sanvik.

Loren is survived by his loving family wife Frayne; son Dale (Patrice) Seeley of Spring Park; daughter Jill (Dan) Jasper of Minnetrista; grandchildren Justin and Hannah Seeley; sister Janet Glissendorf of White Lake, SD; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Dennis and Jerri Jackson of Morris, Sharon Sanvik of Minnetonka, Marshall and Luayne Jackson of Starbuck, Allan Nygaard of Starbuck; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Casket Bearers Gayl Lindeman, Tom Jackson, Mel Millerbernd, Jamie Blumhoefer, Kayla Erickson, David Glissendorf, Mark Glissendorf, Gary Glissendorf.
