Loyd Ervin Seeley, 86, dies

Loyd Ervin Seeley, 86, of Laddonia, died at 4:24 a.m., Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Bienhoff Funeral Home in Laddonia. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Vandalia.

Visitation is from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Services for Loyd Ervin Seeley, 86, of Laddonia, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 6, 2015 at Bienhoff Funeral Home in Laddonia with Harold Williams officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Vandalia.

Visitation will be Thursday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Seeley passed away at 4:24 a.m., March 3, 2015 at his home.

He was born June 7, 1928 in Vandalia, the son of Hugh Elmer and Flossie Alberta Cobb Seeley.

He was married to Betty Jo Gooch on May 21, 1955 in Montgomery City and she survives.

Other survivors include; one son, Kevin Seeley of Laddonia; three daughters, Karen Nitcher, and Karla (James) Hilderman, both of Laddonia, and Kristy (John Booth) Seeley of Wellsville; one brother, Gene (Bonnie) Seeley of Vandalia; one sister, Dorothy Moore of Auxvasse; thirteen grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Tom Seeley; and two sisters, Grace Teacutter, and Mary Edith Newland.

Mr. Seeley was a lifetime area resident and farmer. He was also employed by Heim Implement Co. for several years. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and truck and tractor pulls.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Laddonia Fire Department, in care of Jerry Johnson, 32819 Audrain Road 424, Laddonia, Mo. 63352.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Snyder, Brad Zastrow, Andrew Britton, Denny Wright, Bob Righter, and Mark Isgrig.
