Major H. Seeley

Major H. Seeley, 84, father of City Engineer Wade D. Seeley, died at 6:30 o'clock last night at the residence, East Cook street. Mr. Seeley was a Civil war veteran, having served in the master mechanics' corps, an army organization, corresponding to the modern engineers' corps. He had made his home in this city for the last thirty-two years.

Decedent is survived by two sons, Roy M. and Wade D. Seeley; one granddaughter, Helen Seeley; one sister, Mrs. Belle Parshall, Detroit, Mich.; three brothers, Charles E. Seeley, Yankton, S. D., W. P. Seeley, Northville, Mich., and H. A. Seeley, Farmington, Mich.

Major H. Seeley Rites Tomorrow

Funeral services for Major H. Seeley, who died Wednesday night at his home, 102 East Cook street will be held at 2 o’clock tomorrow afternoon at the residence. Services will be conducted by Rev. E.B. Rogers, pastor emeritus of Central Baptist church. Interment will be made in Oak Ridge cemetery.

Commissioner Charles H. Wood of the department of streets and public improvements has announced that employees of his department will attend the services and that work will be suspended during the funeral.
